Starting as a racer in 1985, Mark started his career in Formula 2000 and the Western Division of Player's IROC Series, before taking a break and returning to the sport in 2002. In 2002, Mark would start a steady career in endurance racing, making his debut in the British BMW Club Championship, and running a number of solo events in 2003. After competing in the UK VW Racing Cup in 2004, Mark would move on to the prestigious Belcar and Dutch Supercar series, where from 2006-2007 he would earn three victories, several top-fives, and two 24-hour podiums first in Zolder and then in Spa. In 2008 Mark would move on to the highly regarded FIA GT3 ranks, where he won the 24 Hours of Spa in class, and led the Porsche Cup standing early on. In 2010 Mark began racing stateside with TRG and Silicon Tech Racing. Making his GRAND-AM debut at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, Mark drove a steady and patient race, and we look forward to more events with him.MARK THOMAS
